Cretex Companies Announces Plans for New Facility

ELK RIVER, Minn., March 26, 2021 – Cretex Companies announced today that they have signed a purchase agreement for land located at the southwest junction of highways 610 and 169 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Cretex plans to build a 245,000 sq. ft. facility to position the company for accelerated growth in the medical device contract manufacturing market. Construction will begin in April and is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2021.

“Cretex is excited to provide our customers with a single-point experience by bringing our capabilities together under one roof,” said Jeff Wollerman, CEO of Cretex. “We pride ourselves on having a long-term vision for our businesses and by creating this modern, environmentally sustainable facility we are supporting our growth.”

The building site was chosen strategically to be within a close radius of existing Cretex locations in Anoka, ensuring employee commutes are impacted as minimally as possible. This location also offered the best option for future expansions. Design concepts are being considered to facilitate collaborative team interactions, include on-site employee amenities, and accommodate investments in technology and equipment.

“This state-of-the-art facility will allow for the expansion of our new technology and engineering investments while also eliminating the constraints to our existing production,” said Pete Herman, President of JunoPacific who is helping to lead the 610 project.

The company expects to house its stamping, molding, tool design as well as advanced engineering and assembly businesses in the new facility by the end of 2022.
